'Susan Sarandon has signed this petition for my wife Briggs, who has stage IV rectal cancer. It's to get Briggs on a new breakthrough cancer immunotherapy developed at Oxford University, the one treatment that can ger her condition under control in time. But I also want to draw media attention to the treatment itself to get it on the fast track for the hundreds of thousands of patients with advanced cancer who have no other cure in sight.'
